Youth Basketball Sports Club (2017/18)

First time arriving into China I worked with YGSC in Jingzhou, I was the second foreign coach in that club, and things were looking amazing. New continent, new culture, new food! It was really a blessing as I had to deal with a lot of traumatic events in my country and the escape from reality through basketball was all I needed to go into the right direction as a person. I worked there with a lot of kids, from U8 to U18. I also was transferred after 6 months to Xienning where I was the first foreign coach.

Youth Basketball Development League(2018/19)

I moved to YBDL in 2018 soon after the Chinese New Year. First I joined the Jiangmen team to see how they work and talk it out for a few days what is required of me. After that I was to head to Zhuhai to open the first YBDL branch in that city, and create what was next to be the domination of YBDL in the area of Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Jiangmen until the Corona Virus hit. Zhuhai is and will forever be my favorite city to live in. It was amazing!

United Stats Basketball Academy China(2019/19)

My brief time in USBA was marked by the specific way of coaching. As the first non-American coach to join the Chinese branch, I was give the task to learn a lot about the “American Way” of coaching. And it was fun I learned a lot from my collogues and Todd Riley (former Nuggets Manager).
